Job summary

Franklin Templeton Investments is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Maintenance Technician to support our St. Petersburg campus.

You will install, maintain, and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while delivering reliable on-site service. Your work will include routine inspections, preventative maintenance, reading blueprints, and collaborating with internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance.
• Knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical circuits, and plumbing principles.
• EPA Section 608 certification or Journeyman license; highly valued.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces and ventilation equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance, such as filter changes and duct cleaning.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, ensuring code compliance.
• Assemble, install, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
• Diagnose and resolve minor plumbing issues.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks across facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Follow safety policies and promote a safety-first culture.

We seek skilled and versatile Multi-Trade Maintenance Technicians to perform a variety of maintenance, installation, and repair tasks across commercial properties. Your expertise in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems will ensure that all building systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with local codes and safety regulations.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role

• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance required.
• Knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical circuits, and plumbing principles.
• Certifications such as EPA Section 608 for refrigerants or Journeyman license are highly valued.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in varied conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Work Schedule & Location

Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Work arrangement: On-site, St. Petersburg, FL

We expect the hourly wage for this position to range between $25.00 - $28.00, depending on location and level of relevant experience, plus discretionary bonus.
