Altria is seeking a Manager, Change Control and Qualification to join our Quality organization in Richmond, VA, with hybrid work options in Nashville, TN or Hopkinsville, KY. Relocation benefits are provided.

The role leads portfolio-level decisioning for high-risk changes, governs documentation controls, and drives cross-site standardization. You will manage a team and partner with stakeholders to ensure timely regulatory compliance and strong quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in a regulated environment with change control understanding documents.
• Understanding of FDA and other regulatory processes.
• Advanced written and editorial skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information using risk-based decision making.

Responsibilities

• Drives portfolio-level decisioning rigor by establishing review cadences, arbitrating cross-functional conflicts, and approving dispositions for high-risk changes.
• Drives documentation control performance through governance and metrics, analyzing defects and implementing corrective standards.
• Drives governance effectiveness by improving forums, resolving bottlenecks, and standardizing change control execution across teams.
• Aligns platform stakeholders across functions to improve decision quality and inform regulatory reporting.
• Manages a team of change control and qualification professionals, sets expectations, and conducts development conversations.
