Job summary

Altria Client Services is seeking an Associate Manager of Manufacturing Quality Changeover Lead to ensure safe, accurate and consistent changeovers on-site. You will coordinate readiness, verify quality requirements, and support startup checks while collaborating with Quality, Operations and other functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or related discipline, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing or quality-assurance in a regulated environment with changeovers experience.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems, specs, sampling and traceability.
• Ability to apply risk assessment, statistics and root-cause analysis; familiarity with SPC, FMEA, Lean or IWS.
• Strong attention to detail, technical writing and cross-functional coordination.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with SAP, MES, Product Workbench or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate risk-based pre-changeover readiness with Operations and Quality.
• Verify line clearance and correct product/material identification.
• Confirm specs, material versions, IDs and quality setup with Operations.
• Coordinate first-production sampling and document results with evidence for decisions.
• Identify and escalate nonconformances; support containment and investigations.
• Develop changeover quality checklists and train teams; verify understanding.
• Track defects, rework, and delays; use CI methods to reduce losses.
