Job summary

Altria Client Services LLC is seeking an Associate Manager, Manufacturing Quality Changeover Lead to ensure safe, accurate, and consistent changeovers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will coordinate readiness, verify quality requirements with Operations, and support documented startup checks, sampling, and traceability.

Responsibilities include managing line clearance, confirming material versions, and supporting containment and root-cause analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing or quality-assurance, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, specifications, sampling, traceability and nonconformance handling.
• Experience with risk assessment, statistics and root-cause analysis; familiarity with SPC, FMEA, Lean or IWS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate risk-based pre-changeover readiness with Operations and Quality, reviewing production sequence and approved changes.
• Verify and document line clearance under approved procedures, including removal or segregation of previous product, materials, packaging and labels.
• Confirm specifications, approved material and packaging versions, IDs and quality-critical setup requirements with Operations.
• Coordinate first-production sampling and inspection; document results and communicate exceptions for start-up decisions.
• Identify and elevate nonconformances; support containment, segregation and holds; assist in tracing, investigation and corrective actions.
• Develop changeover quality checklists and standard work with process owners; support training and verification through floor observations.
• Track changeover defects, rework, and quality-related delays; use trend analysis to reduce losses while maintaining controls.
