Senior Consultant | Meliora | Hiring the Top 5% of Actuaries Globally

Our client is one of the top-tier life insurers in Singapore, seeking talented actuaries to join their valuation team. Responsibilities include :

• Supporting BAU IFRS 17 valuation reporting and financial impact assessments.
• Communicating valuation results to senior management.
• Ensuring timely submissions to regulatory authorities on a monthly / quarterly basis.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to manage timelines and ensure risk compliance, acting as a key contact for queries and ad-hoc requests.
• Working closely with external auditors on IFRS 17 report reviews.
• Running and reviewing models using Prophet (including DCS) for IFRS 17 results.

Qualifications include :

• Qualified or Nearly Qualified Actuary from a reputable actuarial body.
• 6+ years of life actuarial experience; candidates with 12+ years may be considered for a lead role.
• Solid understanding of IFRS 17.
• Prior experience with work in par fund is highly preferred.
• Strong Prophet modeling skills will be prioritized.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
