Job summary

Ralliant seeks a Manager of Application Engineering to lead a team delivering exceptional technical support and customer solutions across the product portfolio. You will bridge Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to drive improvements and customer satisfaction.

You will develop talent, implement best practices, and align the function with strategic objectives while guiding complex technical escalations and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in Applications Engineering, Technical Support, Product Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical functions.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing presentation abilities.
• Experience leading technical teams in manufacturing, instrumentation, industrial technology, or related environment.
• Must live reasonable commuting distance from Boxborough, MA office; hybrid, 50% in-office.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Application Engineers and Technical Support professionals with clear priorities and performance expectations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to address customer challenges and support growth.
• Ensure timely, high-quality responses to customer technical inquiries and maintain service levels and backlog metrics.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring issues to improve processes and products.
• Build technical authority by staying current with product capabilities, regulations, and industry standards.
