Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Solution Engineer Lead to establish and mature internal support for business applications. You will drive technical ownership, architecture, and production reliability across data-intensive pricing and risk platforms.

The role emphasizes leadership over people management, guiding engineers, coordinating with SMEs, external providers, and enterprise teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in software development with tech leadership.
• Strong SQL experience with SQL Server/T-SQL or Oracle/SQL.
• Experience designing data-intensive applications and integrations.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET or Java and REST APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD, release management, and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Own technical architecture and engineering direction for the application portfolio.
• Lead incident diagnosis, recovery, and root-cause analysis.
• Define standards for maintainability, security, testing, and deployment.
• Mentor engineers and ensure cross-training across teams.
• Coordinate with external providers and distributed teams.
