Job summary

Tanium is seeking a Manager, Business Development for Frontier Labs & Strategic Partnerships in a hybrid role, including Reston, VA. You will build and manage AI partnerships, evaluate opportunities, and co-create joint GTM plans to drive partner-sourced growth.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to advance partnerships, deliver joint solutions, and ensure successful execution across lifecycle stages.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
• 5+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, corporate development, or related role in tech.
• Experience supporting or managing technology partnerships end-to-end, including GTM and co-selling.
• Strategic, analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, enterprise software, security, or IT operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and grow frontier AI partnerships with AI model providers and frontier labs.
• Evaluate and prioritize strategic opportunities with market research and business cases.
• Develop joint solutions and GTM initiatives with partners (co-sell, co-marketing, sales plays).
• Support OEM and technology partnerships, including integrations across SIEM, SOAR, ITAM, ITSM, and AI ops.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, launch and support partner initiatives.
• Champion partners internally and educate stakeholders on value propositions and goals.
• Track partnership metrics and drive data-driven improvements to strategies.
• Contribute to adjacency expansion in related industries and potential acquisitions.
• Represent Tanium at industry events and partner meetings; some travel may be required.
