Job summary

Subway in Three Rivers, MI is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, ensure guest satisfaction, uphold food safety standards and maintain store cleanliness. You will recruit, train, and motivate staff, manage inventory and money controls, and collaborate with local marketing efforts.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a restaurant supervisory role, strong communication skills, and the ability to plan staff schedules and events.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, supervision and training of staff.

Manager Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Activities

• Recruiting and rewarding outstanding Team members
• Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed, including being aware of local and national healthy and food safety codes

• Identifying and contacting prospective Guests to promote sales
• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window

Prerequisites

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.

Essential Functions

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
