Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Investor Services Manager to lead a team responsible for subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and capital activity for institutional clients.

You will ensure regulatory compliance and timely investor communications while partnering with fund accounting, legal, and compliance teams to optimize workflows and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar field.
• 6+ years’ experience in Investor Services or related field in the financial services industry.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Excellent client relationship management skills with institutional investors.
• Ability to manage complex projects and work with corporate executives.
• Strong knowledge of fund structures and Investor Services functions (AML/KYC, FATCA, CRS).

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of Investor Services professionals.
• Oversee end-to-end processing of investor subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and other capital activity.
• Ensure compliance with fund documents and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as primary point of contact for a portfolio of institutional clients.
• Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and build trusted relationships.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of investor communications.
• Monitor and enhance operational workflows and procedures.

• Develop and implement Investor Services training programs.
• Participate in client due diligence meetings and present capabilities.

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of investor statements, capital calls, distribution notices, and other investor communications
• Monitor and enhance operational workflows and procedures
• Collaborate with fund accounting, legal, and compliance departments
• Track industry best practices, regulatory changes, and technological advancements
• Develop and implement Investor Services team training programs
• Participate in client due diligence meetings and present Investor Services capabilities
• Assist with management reports and metrics related to investor activity and team performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar field
• 6+ years’ experience in Investor Services or related field in the financial services industry
• At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
• Excellent client relationship management skills with ability to communicate effectively with institutional investors
• Ability to manage complex projects and work effectively with corporate executives
• Excellent written, listening, and presentation communication skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a team
• Strong knowledge of fund structures and Investor Services Department functions, including AML/KYC compliance, FATCA, and CRS
• Strong understanding of investment vehicles, including private equity, hedge funds, and mutual funds, and associated investor servicing requirements
• Proficiency in investor relations software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• FINRA Series 6 or 7 license preferred but not required
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
