Job description

  • Partner with senior relationship managers to coordinate daily client servicing activities, priorities, and account management initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of operational updates related to client accounts.
  • Maintain alignment with internal stakeholders regarding client activity, outstanding requests, and service issues.
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for assigned client relationships, providing responsive support and issue resolution.
  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up for client meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning discussions.
  • Monitor client inquiries and ensure requests are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Escalate complex or non-routine issues to senior leadership with appropriate recommendations.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client objectives, service expectations, and relationship priorities.
  • Support the onboarding of new clients, accounts, investment vehicles, and related products.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities across operations, legal, compliance, investment, and other internal teams.
  • Act as an operational resource during onboarding, ensuring requirements are accurately documented and executed across all business areas.
  • Coordinate the setup, maintenance, and closure of client accounts across internal systems.
  • Maintain onboarding and offboarding documentation, workflows, and completion checklists.
  • Track onboarding progress and communicate status updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review due diligence materials and client documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from onboarding to ongoing relationship management and servicing.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to complete operational deliverables accurately and within established timelines.
  • Escalate operational, trade support, or servicing issues when appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with business partners to evaluate and enhance existing operational processes while supporting new initiatives.
  • Work closely with client service, operations, and support teams to manage day-to-day activities.
  • Identify operational risks, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate the production and delivery of recurring and ad hoc client reporting and communications.
  • Partner with investment, operations, legal, compliance, finance, and other internal teams to address client needs.
  • Prepare client presentations, reporting packages, and supporting documentation.
  • Develop a strong understanding of investment strategies and products to support client inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and relationship data within internal systems.
  • Document key client contacts, preferences, meeting outcomes, and relationship history.
  • Support scheduling, logistics, and coordination for client meetings and events.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives that enhance client service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 3-6 years of experience in client service, relationship management, operations, or account management within financial services.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives across multiple business areas.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of front-, middle-, and back-office operational workflows.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting institutional investors or sophisticated financial clients.
  • Industry licensing (or willingness to obtain applicable registrations).
  • Familiarity with alternative investments, private markets, structured products, or other complex investment vehicles.
