Jobot is hosting a hybrid attorney position focused on labor and employment litigation representing management. The ideal candidate has 2–6 years of civil litigation experience and is licensed to practice in Nevada.

You will represent employers in state and federal courts and agencies, conduct depositions, draft motions, and advise on hiring, discipline, and wage/hour matters. The role offers hybrid flexibility and top-tier benefits.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 to 6 years of civil litigation experience; ideally including single-plaintiff defense and advisory work.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state (Nevada).
• Strong writing, deposition, and courtroom skills for the level of experience.
• Familiarity with AI-driven and emerging technologies and ability to apply them to improve efficiency and client service.

Responsabilidades

• Represent employers in litigation and administrative proceedings involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination claims.
• Handle matters before state and federal courts and agencies (EEOC, NLRB, state counterparts).
• Conduct depositions, draft dispositive motions, and manage discovery in various matters.
• Advise clients on day-to-day employment issues including hiring, discipline, leave management, accommodations, and reductions in force.
• Review and draft employment policies, handbooks, and agreements, including non-competes and separation agreements.
• Counsel clients on compliance with Nevada and federal employment law and support internal investigations.
• Collaborate with colleagues on multi-jurisdictional matters and leverage AI-driven tools to improve efficiency and client service.
