Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Irving, TX offers a paid Management & Sales Internship for 10-12 weeks this summer. You will gain hands-on experience in our retail stores, learning about management, sales, and store operations while delivering meaningful customer experiences.

You will shadow a Sales Representative, work with the management team on a real project, and explore a career in outside sales. College students must be enrolled and ready to return to campus after the program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship or co-op program.
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift up to 50 lbs., 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and contribute to meaningful store experiences.
• Support sales, marketing/promotions, and merchandising initiatives.
• Engage in customer relationship management and daily store operations.
• Complete a project addressing critical business issues with leadership support.
• Shadow a Sales Representative to gain outside sales exposure.
