Job description

This vacancy is for a GS-0343-9/11, Management Analyst (Scheduler) located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, Industrial Department in Baltimore, MD

To qualify at the GS-09 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Experience determining and evaluating the propriety and effect of cost and program changes on the budget execution process. Experience analyzing and preparing program status reports and the accuracy of system entries and calculations. Experience recommending changes to meet evolving human resource requirements caused by adjustments in program policies and operations, or by contingencies. OR Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. or J.D., if related

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Experience conducting management surveys, researching projects and providing advisory services on issues of moderate scope and impact to the organization. Experience assessing program compliance and proposing significant changes to work practices and procedures. Experience preparing and reviewing established directives, which express the operating policies of the activity. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related
