The Office of the Child Advocate Delaware seeks a skilled professional to coordinate and conduct studies, providing technical assistance and recommendations to division components. The role involves interviewing staff, analyzing data, interpreting laws, and documenting findings to improve operations across the state.

Applicants should have experience with study design, descriptive and inferential statistics, and narrative reporting to support policy development and program improvement.

Formación

• Six months experience in conducting studies to evaluate operations, programs, services, policies and procedures.
• Six months experience in descriptive statistics (mean, median, mode, standard deviation).
• Six months experience in interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Six months experience in narrative report writing.
• Knowledge of designing studies including goals, data sources, sampling and collection methods.
• Knowledge of making recommendations based on findings.
• Knowledge of inferential statistics such as correlation, t-tests, f-tests or ANOVA.

Responsabilidades

• Interviews agency staff, observes processes, gathers data for evaluating services and compliance with goals and objectives.
• Reviews and interprets collected data; defines and recommends corrections.
• Analyzes data and develops solutions or alternative methods.
• Evaluates operations to meet goals and objectives.
• Provides technical assistance in understanding management objectives and controls.
• Studies relevant legislation, orders and regulations.
• Assists in implementing new techniques or procedures to improve operations and resource use.
• Documents findings and prepares implementation recommendations.
• May supervise administrative staff as per Merit Rules.
