Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center in Georgia seeks a Mammography Technologist for a part-time role. You will provide safe, high-quality breast imaging and support patients with compassionate care.

This position requires ARRT certifications in Radiography and Mammography, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiologic and mammography experience in a hospital setting. Join a collaborative team in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol.
• Confirm patient identity with two identifiers and obtain relevant history.
• Explain the exam clearly to reduce anxiety using AIDET.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and comfort during positioning and transfers.
• Review images for quality; ensure correct labeling in PACS/RIS.
• Complete daily charge capture and stay current with required education.
