Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a part-time role. You will perform mammography exams, ensure patient comfort, and maintain image quality in a fast-paced environment.

The position supports flexible scheduling while delivering high-quality imaging and compassionate care. The role requires a radiologic technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications, and at least one year of mammography experience in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R and ARRt-M certifications required.
• BLS certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol.
• Explain exams clearly to reduce patient anxiety (AIDET).
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and comfort during positioning and transfers.
