Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide safe, high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care. This part-time role offers a stable schedule and a collaborative clinical environment within the Wellstar health system in Georgia.

You will perform mammograms, ensure patient privacy, verify identities, and maintain QC tests and PACS documentation; ARRT certifications and BLS required; 1+ year mammography experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRRT-M (Mammography) certifications.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams per physician orders and protocols.
• Explain the exam clearly to reduce patient anxiety using AIDET.
• Protect patient privacy and comfort during positioning and transfers.
• Review images for quality and maintain high first-time acceptance.
• Label, document, and store images in PACS/RIS; complete daily charge capture.
