Corewell Health Wayne Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic exams across general radiology, adhering to radiation safety guidelines and quality standards.

This role is part-time, with day shifts 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m., at Wayne Hospital. Sign-on bonus up to $7,500 is available for external hires and internal new grads; benefits include comprehensive coverage, on-demand pay, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration (ARRT) within 180 days.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) registration (ARRT) within 180 days.
• BLS certification required upon hire (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic exams in general radiology following safety protocols and radiation protection standards.
• Collaborate with the radiology team to deliver high-quality imaging and patient-centered care.

Corewell Health Wayne Hospital opened its doors to western Wayne communities in 1957. This full-service hospital is the only hospital in the Wayne, Westland, Garden City, Canton, Inkster and Romulus area verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital has a longstanding partnership with Detroit Metropolitan Airport and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to handle a wide variety of health and communicable disease concerns including mass trauma and emergency patients.

Scope of work

As a Radiology Technologist with Corewell Health, you can turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses. You'll be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology while following regulations and principles of radiation protection. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Required Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• Training gained at student level. Required
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
