Job summary

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform accurate mammography exams with proper imaging techniques. You will work under the site designate leader, ensuring patient-centered care and adherence to hospital policies.

The role emphasizes quality imaging, clinical skills, and collaboration with radiology teams in Dearborn, MI. Prior radiography experience and ARRT CRT certifications are preferred, with on-site responsibilities and variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires associate’s degree and JRCERT-accredited radiography training.
• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience; 1–3 years beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
• CRT-Mammography certification and CRT-BLS required upon hire (ARRT/ARC/AHA).

Responsibilities

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. With 632 beds, Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. Scope of Work

Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Always follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Qualifications

• Required associate’s degree


• Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.


• 1 year of relevant experience


• 1-3 Years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level


• Preferred CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist


• Upon Hire required CRT-Mammography (M) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist


• 1 Year required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required


• Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire require
