Job summary

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is seeking an Advanced Imaging Assistant to join the MRI department on a part-time basis. The role involves supporting the technologist and performing duties within the imaging environment, while upholding our patient- and family-centered care philosophy.

The position emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and flexibility across shifts, with responsibilities in a dynamic hospital setting in Dearborn, Michigan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of relevant experience and two years of patient care experience preferred.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, supports Imaging department technologists.
• Perform a wide range of duties as assigned within Imaging environment.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills and maintains patient-centered care.

With 632 beds, Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. Scope of Work

Under direct supervision the Advanced Imaging Assistant supports and assists the Technologist as needed following the established policies and procedures within the Imaging environment. Responsible for performing a wide range of duties as assigned by the Imaging department. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant experience 2 years’ patient care experience. Preferred
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
