Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Part-Time Radiologic Technologist specializing in mammography to join our fast-growing outpatient practice. You will operate mammography equipment, perform procedures, and help educate patients on preventive breast health while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Registration as an Radiologic and Mammography Technologist by the ARRT is required.
• Current Radiology and Mammography license in the State is required.

Responsibilities

• Operates mammography equipment and performs various mammography related procedures.
• Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.
• Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
• Responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining records and files, and cleaning and adjusting equipment as needed.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Duties as assigned.
