Job summary

BayCare Health System in Valrico, FL is hiring a Mammography Technologist - Outpatient to perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in a patient-first environment. The role supports RIS data management, patient transport, and related duties, with shift hours 7a-6p and occasional weekends.

Requirements include BLS, ARRT Radiologic Technologist with Florida licensing, and a Radiology degree (Technical Diploma or Associate).

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist - Relevant Specialty.
• Radiology license - State of Florida.
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) or Associate's Degree in Radiology.
• At least 1 year radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, and related duties.
• Supports patient transport and clerical tasks as needed.

Mammography Technologist - Outpatient Responsibilities:

• The Mammography Technologist - Outpatient performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
