Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is hiring a Radiology Technologist specialized in mammography to perform imaging while ensuring patient safety. You will act as the first contact with patients and help coordinate CQI activities within the imaging department.

Responsibilities include maintaining safe imaging practices, assessing pain, understanding breast anatomy, and delivering high-quality patient care in a setting that minimizes radiation exposure and errors.

Competenze

• High school graduate; BS degree preferred.
• ARRT certification in radiography; board eligibility in mammography.
• Nevada certification to practice and administer radiation.
• One-year mammography experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Mansioni

• Care and safety of patients undergoing imaging; minimize hazards and radiation.
• Assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure.
• Thorough understanding of breast anatomy.
• Perform all aspects of patient care in a safe environment to reduce errors.
