Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV seeks a Radiology Technologist for full-time day shift. You will perform imaging procedures across Surgery, ED, Pain Center and Imaging Department and ensure patient safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities include verifying patient history, preparing patients, IV access as prescribed, and evaluating image quality while interfacing with Radiologists and CQI activities.

Qualifications

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current BCLS certification.
• Stand by/Call required.

Responsabilités

• Corroborating patient’s clinical history with procedure; documentation for the Radiologist.
• Preparing patients for procedures and verifies correct patient, parameters, protocol, imaging site, and exam.
• Starting and maintaining intravenous access as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Evaluating images for technical quality and proper identification.
