Job summary

Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform mammograms under the direction of Radiologist, Lead Tech, Chief Tech, or Technical Director. You will contribute to efficient SDMI operations and ensure high-quality imaging.

The role requires ARRT registration with mammography certification, Nevada/MQSA training as required, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Be ARRT registered and certified in mammography with at least one year experience.
• ARRT with advanced mammography training as required by Nevada and MQSA.
• Submit copies of licenses/certificates for the Technical Director file and maintain records for review.
• Complete occurrence reports within 24 hours of events or risks.
• Maintain qualification records for MQSA inspections and inspections readiness.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and time management in task completion.
• Protect patient information and maintain confidentiality.
• Follow SDMI safety and evacuation guidelines and procedures.
• Participate in cross-training for department growth and SDMI function.
• Ensure all functions are completed before leaving SDMI at shift end.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammograms under the direction of the Radiologist, Lead Tech, Chief Tech or Technical Director.
• May perform other duties as required for SDMI operations.
• Submit licenses/certificates to the Technical Director and keep in the personnel file.
• Protect patient information and maintain confidentiality.
