Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Las Vegas is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform exams, ensure image quality, and participate in daily imaging operations. You will manage patient flow, position patients accurately, and perform quality control in alignment with department protocols.

The role requires ARRT and Nevada Mammography licensure or the ability to obtain by start date, CPR certification, and the flexibility to work overtime or on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA Radiologic Technology program with ARRT license.
• CPR certification current and Nevada Mammography license or able to obtain by start date.
• Able to rotate within Imaging Services and communicate results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients, explain procedures and perform mammography exams with quality positioning.
• Conduct screening or diagnostic mammography, review films for technical quality.
• Perform quality control tests per ACR and policy manuals.
• Ensure images and tests are stored correctly in PACS; manage RIS workflows.
• Maintain ARRT, CPR, and Nevada license; provide CE proof to supervisor.
• Assist in other modalities if certified/licensed and travel to sites as needed.
• Complete paperwork and scans for records and HIM submissions.
