Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a full-time day-shift role in the Imaging Department, Surgery, ED and Pain Center. You will follow safety protocols, support CQI activities and act as the first interface with patients for imaging needs.

Requirements include high school graduation, ARRT and BCLS certifications, and standby/call responsibilities. Benefits cover medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School graduate; BS degree preferred.
• ARRT certification required.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Stand by/Call required.

Responsibilities

• Corroborate patient history with the procedure and ensure info is available for radiologist.
• Prepare patients for procedures and verify patient, parameters, protocol, imaging site, and exam.
• Start and maintain IV access per physician orders.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure correct patient identification.
