Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is hiring a Per Diem Mammography Technologist to perform Mammography and DEXA studies per department protocols. You will operate RIS and PACS, and may take on related duties as trained.

The role requires ARRT MRT certification, ARRT(M) within one year, and BLS. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced radiology team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program with ARRT requirements
• 40 hours mammography training approved by ARRT and 25 supervised exams
• ARRT MRT-General Certificate
• ARRT(M) within one year of eligibility
• BLS certification required
• Experience with QA measures and accreditation requirements
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform Mammography and DEXA studies per department protocols
• Utilize RIS and PACS systems for imaging
• May be assigned to other duties if trained and credentialed
• For II level: perform additional radiographic, fluoroscopic, ASC/SCNB procedures
