Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform Mammography and DEXA studies and support radiology operations. You will use RIS and PACS and may take on additional duties aligned with your training and credentials.

Ideal candidates will hold ARRT MRT-General and ARRT(M) eligibility within one year, with BLS and strong communication skills. This role pays hourly and integrates with a large health care network in the Houston area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program with 40 hours mammography training and 25 supervised exams to meet minimum FDA/TMB requirements.
• ARRT(R) MRT-General Certificate; ARRT(M) within one year of eligibility.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Experience with quality assurance measures and accreditation in mammography.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mammography and DEXA studies as ordered by a physician.
• Utilize Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS.
• Possible duties beyond radiology based on training and credentials.
