Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is hiring Mammography Technologists to perform mammography and DEXA studies, using RIS and PACS, in our Radiology Department. You will work under physician orders and contribute to high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Requirements include ARRT certification, 40 hours mammography training with FDA/TMB standards, BLS, and strong communication skills. This role offers competitive pay between $29 and $52 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED and graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• 40 hours mammography training approved by the ARRT and 25 supervised exams to meet FDA & TMB requirements.
• ARRT (R) MRT-General certificate or ability to attain ARRT(M) within one year.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Experience using Microsoft software.
• Working knowledge of mammography QA measures and accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mammography and DEXA studies per physician orders.
• Utilize RIS and PACS systems for image processing and archiving.
• Prepare and position patients to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Maintain equipment safety and radiation safety protocols.
• May be assigned to other duties with supervisor approval.
• Produced Mammography and DEXA studies, plus other radiographic procedures as needed.
