Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and screening mammography at our Houston area facility. You will follow department protocols to produce high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Required ARRT mammography credentials, MRT-General Certificate, BCLS, and strong verbal/written communication. This full-time role offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities within a nationally recognized health

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited program.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• 40 hours mammography training approved by the ARRT to meet the minimum initial FDA & TDH requirements for mammographers.
• ARRT (R)
• MRT-General Certificate
• BCLS certification
• Working knowledge of mammography quality assurance measures and accreditation requirements
• Ability to use computer keyboard
• Proven excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and/or screening mammography per department protocols.
• Maintain a repeat rate of <5%.
• Participate in radiology quality control measures and equipment maintenance.
• Use RIS system for documentation and data entry.
• Maintain shielding and sterile technique as required.
• Participate in training programs and maintain licenses/certifications.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff and align with Mission, Vision, and Values.
