Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Washington state is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high‑quality mammography services, prepare rooms and equipment, and maintain safety standards. Responsibilities include processing orders, ensuring accurate patient data entry in IDX systems, and adhering to MQSA/ACR guidelines while supporting staff and physicians.

Qualifications

• Washington state certification as Mammography Technologist required at hire or eligible for training with two years radiology experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging per clinical protocols and position patients for best visualization.
• Maintain strict patient and staff confidentiality and ensure safety standards.
• Input patient data into IDX-Rad and IDX-Mam systems accurately.
• Educate patients about procedures and address questions to alleviate anxiety.
• Uphold MQSA and OSHA requirements and participate in quality control activities.
