Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Washington, DC is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality breast imaging services per physician orders. You will prepare mammography rooms and diagnostic equipment, perform testing, develop films, and ensure safety and confidentiality.

The role adheres to MQSA/ACR regulations; requires state certification, BLS, and ARRT-M or willingness to train. Prior mammography experience preferred; two years experience noted.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Washington state certification as Mammography Technologist required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• State of Washington Mammography Technologist certification and ARRT-M registration by date of hire or will train radiology technician with two years experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide mammography services per physician orders.
• Prepare mammography rooms and diagnostic equipment.
• Develop films and ensure image quality; maintain safety standards.
• Maintain patient and staff confidentiality and comply with MQSA/ACR regulations.
• Educate patients and address anxiety; communicate results appropriately.
