Job summary

Confidential in Washington State is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in accordance with physician orders. The role includes preparing rooms and equipment, developing films, and ensuring MQSA/ACR compliance while maintaining patient confidentiality.

You will educate patients about procedures, manage data entry in IDX systems, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver focused care with attention to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Washington Mammography Technologist certification required at hire.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ARRT Mammography registration or will train with two years' radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and position mammography images per protocols with patient comfort in mind.
• Prepare rooms and diagnostic equipment; maintain safety and QA standards.
• Enter patient data into IDX-Rad/IDX-Mam systems accurately.
• Educate patients about procedures and address anxiety or questions.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to MQSA/ACR regulations.
