Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Seattle is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to provide mammography services according to physician orders. You will prepare mammography rooms and diagnostic equipment and perform high-quality imaging while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include patient education, accurate data entry in IDX systems, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring MQSA/ACR compliance with strict privacy and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, problem solving-skills, and consistent excellent customer service.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist in Washington is required at hire, with MQSA compliance.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• One year of mammography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Testing: Perform mammography imaging with proper patient positioning.
• Computer System: Enter patient info into IDX systems and ensure accurate records.
• Customer Service: Provide patient education and address concerns with empathy.
• Patient and Employee Safety: Maintain radiation safety and perform QA activities.
• General Behavior: Maintain workflow, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures.
• Regulatory: Adhere to MQSA and ACR regulations and protect patient privacy.
