Job summary

Aura Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to support multiple imaging facilities in the region. You will perform mammography procedures, review image quality, and document in PACS/RIS while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

Required are ARRT-R, ARRT-M, BLS, a radiologic technology program, and at least 2 years of hospital-based experience. Full-time with variable shifts, PTO, wellness programs, and education access are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based radiologic and mammography experience.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Certifications ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures per physician orders and review image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain infection control.
• Document findings and patient data in PACS/RIS; ensure privacy and patient education.

Job description

Role Overview:

A Mammography Technologist supporting multiple imaging facilities within the region, delivering high-quality mammography exams while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

• Responsibilities: Perform mammography procedures per physician orders, review image quality, operate equipment safely, maintain infection control, and ensure accurate documentation in PACS/RIS. Provide patient education, protect privacy, and support emergency and team needs. Conduct QC tests and maintain compliance with standards. Keep the work environment clean and stocked, and assist with training new staff.
• Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and minimum of 2 years of hospital-based radiologic and mammography experience. Certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS required.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, positioning, radiation safety, and mammography best practices. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, communicate professionally, and utilize sound clinical judgment.
