Job summary

Proforma Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to support multiple imaging facilities. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, safe mammography exams while ensuring a positive patient experience.

You will review images, maintain infection control, and contribute to a team dedicated to patient privacy, comfort, and continuous education in radiologic practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least 2 years of hospital-based Radiologic Technologist and Mammography experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams following physician orders, review image quality, operate equipment safely, maintain records, and ensure patient privacy and comfort.
• Review images for correctness, clarify unclear orders, assist in emergencies, and support infection control standards.
• Complete quality control tests, document procedures accurately, and maintain a clean, stocked imaging suite.
• Provide patient instructions, address questions, and support training for new team members.
• Communicate professionally, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and apply expertise in anatomy, pathology, and radiation safety.
