Job summary

Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our regional imaging team across multiple facilities. You will perform mammography exams, ensure patient safety and comfort, and follow physician orders and protocols.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 2 years of hospital-based radiology and mammography experience, ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS certifications, plus strong knowledge of anatomy and radiation safety.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS certifications are required.
• Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and mammo best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams according to physician orders and protocols, ensuring patient identification and privacy.
• Gather patient history, screen for contraindications, and clearly explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Operate mammography equipment safely, optimize imaging techniques, and maintain equipment hygiene.
• Review images for quality and completeness, ensuring first-time acceptance standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation, label images correctly, and complete procedural tracking.
• Conduct quality control tests, support compliance with regulatory standards, and ensure a clean, stocked work environment.
• Assist in emergencies, support training of new team members, and communicate professionally within a fast-paced team.
