Job summary

The Mammography Technologist at The Hospital of Central Connecticut will perform diagnostic and therapeutic mammographic procedures using tomosynthesis in a state-of-the-art suite. You will operate GE Pristina mammography units and may train in DEXA, stereotactic/needle localization and Contrast Enhanced Mammography.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiography program.
• CT State Radiographer's License required.
• ARRT (R) required - ARRT (M) preferred.
• Current xray and mammography experience highly preferred.
• Acute care experience and experience with invasive procedures is very highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Mammography Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic mammographic procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Operates digital tomosynthesis mammography equipment and performs procedures.
• Opportunity to train in DEXA, stereotactic/needle localization procedures and Contrast Enhanced Mammography.
