Job summary

The Mammography Technologist at The Hospital of Central Connecticut will perform diagnostic and therapeutic mammographic procedures using state-of-the-art tomosynthesis equipment. Opportunities to train in DEXA, stereotactic/needle localization and Contrast Enhanced Mammography are available to dedicated staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiography program.
• CT State Radiographer's License required.
• ARRT (R) required; ARRT (M) preferred.
• Current xray and mammography experience highly preferred.
• Acute care experience and experience with invasive procedures highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic mammographic procedures.
• Operate digital tomosynthesis equipment and assist in potential training in DEXA, stereotactic localization, and Contrast Enhanced Mammography.
