Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is actively hiring Mammography Technologists to join their team in New Britain, Connecticut, with cross-training in Mammography and tomosynthesis. Radiologic Technologists will support a state-of-the-art suite using GE Pristina Mammography units and share opportunities to train in DEXA and related procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiography program.
• CT State Radiographer's License required.
• ARRT (R) required; ARRT (M) preferred.
• Current x-ray and mammography experience highly preferred.
• Acute care experience and experience with invasive procedures is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic mammographic procedures per established protocols.
• Operate digital tomosynthesis mammography equipment.
• Assist in training in DEXA, stereotactic/needle localization and Contrast Enhanced Mammography.
• Support referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and patient care standards.
