Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiography program.
• CT State Radiographer's License required.
• ARRT (R) required - ARRT (M) preferred.
• Current x-ray and mammography experience highly preferred.
• Acute care experience and experience with invasive procedures is very highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Mammography Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic mammographic procedures, according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.
• Operates digital tomosynthesis mammography equipment and performs procedures, with opportunities to train in DEXA, stereotactic/needle localization procedures and Contrast Enhanced Mammography.

Education

Graduate of an approved Radiography program.
