Job summary

Kaiser Permanente seeks a Mammography Technologist to provide diagnostic mammography services, prepare rooms and equipment, and follow MQSA/ACR standards. The technologist will ensure patient safety, perform high-quality imaging, and maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities include patient education, proper documentation, and collaboration with physicians. A WS Mammography certification and ARRT-M are required or training provided. BLS is required at hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State of Washington Mammography Technologist certification required at hire (or ability to train with two years radiology experience).
• Basic Life Support required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging per protocol and prepare exam rooms and equipment.
• Develop films and ensure MQSA/ACR compliance and safety.
• Provide patient education and address anxiety; communicate results clearly.
