Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Seattle Imaging & Radiology team is hiring a Radiology Technologist to provide radiology services in accordance with physician orders while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. You will prepare radiology rooms, operate equipment per safety standards, and maintain equipment within manufacturer specifications.

You will input data into RIS, communicate with patients and physicians, and uphold patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved accredited radiologic technology program by time of hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills to work with physicians, customers and coworkers.
• Adherence to radiation safety, infection control practices, and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality general radiographic and specialty images with clinical protocols.
• Position patients to best demonstrate area of interest while respecting comfort.
• Input patient information into RIS accurately and promptly.
• Deliver timely, professional service to patients, physicians, and staff; ensure patient confidentiality.
