Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide diagnostic mammography services with related clerical duties as needed. The role supports the KPNW mission and promotes team collaboration in patient care.

Responsibilities include image acquisition, processing, quality control, and coordination with physicians and staff. A high school diploma, ARRT Mammography certification, and state licensure are required, along with BLS within one month of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licensure: Washington Radiologic Technologist license required at hire or Oregon Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist license required at hire.
• ARRT Mammography Certification required at hire (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support within 1 month of hire.
• Radiologic Technologist Certification from ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures per department policies; include routine and biopsy/special procedures.
• Acquire and process images; assist patient transport; perform file work and receptions; provide quality control and troubleshoot equipment.
• Participate in on-call or standby schedule as required and other duties as assigned.
