Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography in a safe, efficient manner. The role includes reviewing and transmitting images and reports to physicians, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The candidate should have ARRT Mammography certification, a radiologic tech credential, and BLS. Prior ambulatory care experience and strong clinical judgment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Mammography experience is required.
• ARRT Mammography Certification must be current.
• Radiologic Technologist Certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of mammography procedures.
• Document patient assessment and history.
• Provide patient education.
• Escalate unusual situations to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot and manage equipment concerns; engage service vendor as needed.
• Stock and clean exam rooms/work areas.
