Solis Mammography is seeking a Mammography Technologist to support a patient-focused breast health program in Houston, TX. Join a team dedicated to high-quality care and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License (TMB) is required.
• ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility with documented clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• MQSA/FDA CEU: 15 CEUs every 3 years; 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

Work Location: 7400 Fannin Street Suite 100 (One Fannin Building) Houston , TX 77054

Work Hours: (Full-Time) Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm and Fridays 6:00am-12:00pm (Occasional Saturdays Required)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here is what you will need:

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist;

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
• Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
• Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
• Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
• Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
• Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
