The Mammography Technologist is responsible for applying ionizing radiation to demonstrate portions of the human body on a radiographic, fluoroscopic screen, or other imaging modality to assist the physician in the diagnosis of disease or injury. The incumbent performs screening and diagnostic mammography imaging the majority of the time. The incumbent works under the general guidance, supervision, and direction of the Medical Imaging Manager and under the daily operational oversight of the Radiologic Technologist Team Leader.
