Job summary

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technician PRN to join our diagnostic imaging team in Atlantis, FL. You will perform radiographic procedures under a radiologist's supervision and contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires vocational/technical education, Radiography licensing, and 1–3 years of experience, with mammography experience preferred. This PRN position supports our commitment to community health and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical education in radiologic technology is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging.
• 1 to 3 years of radiography experience; mammography experience preferred; Florida license and ARRT(R).

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a radiologist.
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation safely for radiographic examinations.
• Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Under the direction of a radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiating for radiographic examinations. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

What qualifications you will need:

• Vocational /Technical Education
• Graduate of an Accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging
• 1 to 3 years of experience
• 1 year experience in performing Mammography prefered
• Florida General Radiographer License andARRT.(R)
